Privacy policy

The short version: we collect what you send us through a form, plus anonymous visit statistics. We don't sell any of it, and share it only with analytics providers. You can ask us to delete everything and we will, within 15 days.

1. Who processes your data

The data controller is RootRank LLC, tax ID 193456789, registered at 121 Pobediteley Avenue, office 304, 220020 Minsk, Belarus. Processing is governed by the Law of the Republic of Belarus on Personal Data Protection No 99-З of 7 May 2021. For anything to do with your data, write to sales@rootrank.io.

2. What we collect

Two categories.

What you send us

your name, or whatever you asked us to call you;
a phone number or a Telegram handle;
an email address, if you wrote to us;
your website address and anything you chose to put in the message field.

What is collected automatically

anonymous visit data: pages, time, referrer, device type;
IP address and cookie identifiers;
browser information needed to render the site correctly.

3. Why we need it

To contact you about your enquiry and discuss the work. This is the main and nearly the only reason.
To prepare a proposal, if you asked for one.
To understand which pages are useful and which aren't, using anonymous statistics.
To meet legal obligations, where they apply.

We don't use your data for marketing emails unless you separately opted in, and we don't pass it to partners for their marketing.

4. Who we share it with

A short and closed list:

web analytics providers, in anonymous form;
the service that runs our forms and stores enquiries;
public authorities, only on a lawful and reasoned request.

We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to other agencies, data brokers or ad networks.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries and correspondence: three years from the last contact, then deleted. Anonymous statistics: up to 26 months, per the analytics providers' settings. If you ask us to delete sooner, we delete sooner.

6. Your rights

Under Belarusian data protection law, and under the GDPR if you are in the EU or the UK, you have the right to:

confirm whether we process your data and get a copy of it;
have inaccurate data corrected;
withdraw consent and have your data erased;
restrict or object to processing;
receive your data in a portable format;
complain to the National Personal Data Protection Center of Belarus, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EU or the UK.

To exercise any of these, write to sales@rootrank.io. We respond within 15 days, as the law requires. We only ask you to verify your identity when the request concerns data we can't disclose to a stranger.

7. How we protect it

Enquiries are accessible to the sales team and a director, on a need-to-know basis. Data leaves the site over an encrypted connection. Backups are encrypted. We store no payment details: invoices are settled through the bank.

8. Children

This site is aimed at companies and sole traders. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If such data has reached us by mistake, tell us and we'll remove it.

9. Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll update the date at the top and publish the new version here. Checking for changes is on you; we don't send notification emails.
