Technical work, structure, content, links and conversion – one team, one plan, one invoice. Visibility in AI answers sits inside the same fee rather than on a separate line. You get an estimated payback month in writing before the contract starts.
We reply within half an hour. Any longer and we're at lunch.
Median across 40 full-service projects started 2023–2025 on the $1,500 tier, with a 25% enquiry-to-deal rate. Deal size and competition move this a lot – ask for the version with your numbers.
One part done well still leaves you stuck
The weakest lever caps the rest
Perfect technical health earns nothing if nobody links to you. Excellent content ranks nowhere on a site that can't be crawled. Search rewards the minimum of your scores, not the maximum.
Structure and sources pay twice
Clean structure, cited sources and direct answers are what search rewards – and the same pages are the ones AI answers quote. Done once it covers both; skipped, you pay for the catch-up later.
Handovers cost more than the work
Three contractors means three briefs, three sets of assumptions, and a month lost every time one waits on another. One team on one plan removes the seams.
Four services, one team, one invoice
Where the four services meet
The panel on the right is one client’s data before we started, and it is the clearest argument for running the four together. Documentation collected 41% of organic traffic and produced 4% of signups. Comparison pages produced 34% of signups on 6% of traffic. Nothing on that site was broken; the traffic was simply landing where nobody buys.
Fixing it needed three of the four services at once. Technical work to separate documentation from product pages by intent. Content to build the comparison cluster nobody had written. And attribution, because with a sales cycle of three to nine months last-click credits the final branded search and makes organic look like a rounding error worth cutting.
What that looks like on real projects
On the ITAM/ITSM platform the same pattern took traffic from 1,500 to 6,600 visits a month, and the cheapest part of it – rewriting help-centre headings so they stopped competing with pricing pages – moved signups before a single new article shipped.
On the developer directory the constraint was different: eleven thousand queries sat beyond position two hundred because ten thousand profile pages were indistinguishable from each other. Content alone would have changed nothing there, and links alone would have had nothing to lift.
That is the whole argument for one team and one invoice. Split these across three vendors and each reports a metric that moved while the pipeline stays where it was.

Billed separately, at cost
Passed through with the original invoice attached. These are averages across our projects. Your budget depends on how competitive the niche is and on what competitors spend in it; we size it in the link gap analysis before you commit.
- Link placements$400–1,200 / mo
- Developer hours, if you have none$40 / h
- Paid tools you want to keepat cost
We don't mark any of this up. You see the supplier invoice, and you can decline any of it – we'll tell you what that costs in results.
What happens, month by month
Foundations on paper
Technical audit, demand map, competitor teardown, and the forecast with the payback month in it. Nothing gets touched on the site until you've signed off on the plan.
A plan document, not a dashboard. Traffic doesn't move yet and we don't pretend otherwise.
The unglamorous part
We clear what blocks crawling and indexing, rebuild the structure around real demand, and ship the first content briefs. Outreach starts quietly in the background.
Indexation and impressions move first. Clicks lag them by four to six weeks – that's normal, and it's in the forecast.
Enquiries start arriving
Content ships weekly, placements land, and the pages that already convert get their first conversion fixes. This is where the three levers start multiplying each other.
Cost per enquiry from search becomes comparable to your paid channels – and keeps falling while paid doesn't.
The lines cross
Cumulative revenue passes cumulative fee. Work shifts from building to defending positions and opening the next cluster of demand.
The payback month from the proposal, hit or missed. If missed, an explanation of what the forecast got wrong.
Four things that affect the payback month
Competition in the niche
A crowded commercial niche can add three to four months. We check who's above you and how much they're spending before we quote.
Domain age and history
A domain under a year old waits out roughly six months regardless of what we do. One with past penalties needs cleaning before it can grow.
How fast changes ship
The single biggest variable we don't control. Teams that deploy weekly hit payback months earlier than teams that deploy quarterly.
Technical state at the start
A site with broken crawling spends month two on repairs rather than growth. It's recoverable, but it's time.
Five people, not one generalist
Owns the forecast, the plan and the call you have every two weeks.
12 h / moAudits, crawl control, and the briefs your developers actually implement.
20 h / moDemand mapping, briefs, and editing whatever your team writes.
24 h / moOutreach, negotiation, placement, and monitoring what survives.
16 h / moDashboards, revenue attribution, and the numbers in the two-week report.
8 h / mo
Agencies sell the part they are best at and call it a strategy. If the technical side is broken, content does not rank; if content is thin, links have nothing to lift. The weakest of the five levers sets the ceiling for the other four – which is why we refuse projects where we are only allowed to touch one of them.
